Tashkent Metropolitan University Professor publishes research on green HRM and environmental performance
Dr. Pankaj Tiwari, Associate Professor at Tashkent Metropolitan University, has recently published a research paper titled The Impact of Green Human Resource Management Practices on the Environmental Performance of Organisations in the Journal of the Knowledge Economy (Springer).
The journal is classified as a Quartile 1 (Q1) publication according to the Scopus database, highlighting the significance of Dr. Tiwari’s contribution to the field.
The study investigates the role of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) in enhancing the environmental performance of organizations. Using structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze data from 200 respondents across 20 organizations, the research demonstrates that while GHRM practices contribute to sustainability, their effectiveness is contingent on strong organizational culture and regulatory compliance. The findings suggest that a combination of internal cultural support and external regulatory mechanisms is essential for achieving optimal environmental outcomes.
Dr. Tiwari, the sole author of the paper, brings extensive expertise to this subject. With over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership across multiple countries, he has authored 12 Scopus-indexed publications, including seven in Q1 journals.
