TMU partners with Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University to expand international academic cooperation
Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University (BEUN) of Turkey, marking a significant step in TMU's commitment to building a globally connected academic community.
The agreement, signed by TMU President Bakhzod Djalilov and by BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. Ismail Hakkı Özölçer, opens the door to a wide range of collaborative programs designed to benefit students, faculty, and research teams at both institutions.
Under the new partnership, students from both universities will have the opportunity to study at each other's campuses as exchange students, with academic credits transferable back to their home institution.
Additionally, both undergraduate and graduate students will be able to apply for Master's and Doctoral programs at the partner university, broadening their academic and career pathways.
The partnership also creates opportunities for academic staff from both universities to collaborate through guest lectures, joint research initiatives, and instruction visits. Faculty exchanges will be supported through various mobility and exchange programs.
Both institutions will work toward sharing educational materials, research publications, and library resources. The partnership also envisions joint conferences, seminars, and workshops that bring together scholars and students from both countries.
"This partnership reflects our vision of turning Tashkent Metropolitan University into a truly international academic hub," said TMU President Bekhzod Djalilov. "Collaborating with a respected institution like Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University creates real opportunities for our students and faculty to grow beyond borders."
The MOU serves as a foundation for future joint programs and initiatives to be developed between the two universities.
