TMU becomes first in Uzbekistan to recognize IB diploma and offers special scholarships
Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU) proudly announces that it became the first university in Uzbekistan to join IB universities database to recognize the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

As the first institution in Uzbekistan to officially acknowledge the IB Diploma and offers scholarship for IB students, Tashkent Metropolitan University sets a precedent for other educational institutions in the country. The recognition of the IB Diploma is a testament to TMU’s dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment that meets international standards.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a globally recognized education program known for its rigorous academic and personal standards. The IBDP aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethically.

Graduates with IB diploma will be admitted to Tashkent Metropolitan University without any exams and will receive 50% scholarship for the first semester.
Currently Tashkent Metropolitan School is working on introduction of International Baccalaureate programme. Once the school obtains IB status, the graduates will be able to enroll to leading universities around the world.
In addition to its pursuit of IB status, Tashkent Metropolitan School, in collaboration with Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU), offer the innovative Pre-Foundation High-level Courses (PHL). This unique, two-year preparatory program is designed for 10th-grade students, spanning four semesters.
The PHL program allows students to integrate their school curriculum with specific fundamental courses at TMU, providing a comprehensive and advanced educational experience. This joint initiative aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for academic success at the university level and beyond.
