Tashkent Metropolitan University Opens Admission for the Pre-foundation High-level Program
Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU) announces the launch of applications for the two-year Pre-foundation High-level (PHL) program, designed specifically for graduates of the 9th grade. This unique program offers students a confident and well-prepared pathway to higher education and the opportunity to build an international academic career.
The PHL program is designed to ensure a smooth and effective transition from school-level education to university-level studies.
The program is offered in two formats:
Track 1 allows students to continue attending their own school, lyceum, or college in the morning, and attend PHL classes at TMU in the afternoon. The cost of this format is 20 million Uzbek soums per year.
Track 2 involves a full transfer to TMU, where students study both the school curriculum and the PHL program under one roof. Under this track, TMU collaborates with Tashkent Metropolitan to ensure a high quality of education for young people. The cost of full-time education is 35 million Uzbek soums per year.
PHL offers a wide range of fields of study, including International Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Computer Science, English Language, Early Childhood Education, Economics, and Law.
As part of the program, students receive professional preparation for international examinations. Tashkent Metropolitan University provides additional support by covering the cost of IELTS and SAT exams once during the second year of study.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to continue their studies in TMU’s bachelor’s degree programs, as well as in leading partner universities abroad in the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada, and in Uzbekistan. Among these partners are Webster University, Westminster International University in Tashkent, Turin Polytechnic University, and MDIS Tashkent.
Applications are open until August 22, 2025. Admission requirements include successful completion of the 9th grade, an intermediate or higher level of English proficiency, and passing entrance exams in English and Mathematics (depending on the chosen field).
